The Republic Health Inspection Service conducts inspection surveillance concerning compliance with the regulations referring to medical practice, medications and medical equipment, healing waters, waters for sanitary-recreational usage,  general use items, supervision over sanitary-hygienic conditions of buildings, non-ionizing radiation, chemicals and biocides, social, family and health protection and other administrative areas is so regulated.

In accordance with regulated competences, the Republic Health Inspection Service inspects:

• medical practice,
• retail trafficking of medications and medical equipment,
• non-ionizing radiation protection,
• production and trafficking of chemicals/biocides,
• production and trafficking of general use items,
• social protection and
• other requirements prescribed by the law.
