The Republic Fire Safety Inspection Service conducts inspection surveillance concerning compliance of the regulations referring to fire protection, explosives, flammable liquids and gasses and other dangerous materials and other administrative areas if so regulated.

In accordance with regulated competences, the Republic Fire Safety Inspection Service inspect:

• execution of fire protection measures in public, economic, utility and collective habitation buildings,
• production, traffic and use of flammable liquids and gasses and explosives storage,
• testing of electrical installations, lightning rods, ventilation systems, heating systems, smoke flue systems and flammable liquids and gasses,
• purchase and maintenance of fire extinguishing equipment,
• training and specialization of workers and people responsible for implementation of fire safety measures,
• fulfilment of conditions regarding organization of fire safety, prescribing normative documents and
• other requirements prescribed by the law.
